Arrival in Mestia (this is not a part of the tour package). Overnight stop at a guest house in Mestia.
Hike to Zabeshi where we will stop for the night. Zabeshi is a small mountain settlement 1600 m (5250ft.) above sea level. Today's hike is about 13 km (8 miles) long. On the way up we will see the gorgeous peaks of Ushba, Tetnuldi, and Layla mountains and the valley of Mulkkhunar river.

Hike to Adishi.Adishi is a small mountain settlement 2000 m (6562 ft.) above sea level. There are only 12 families who live there in summer and only 4 of them dare to stay for the long and harsh mountain winter. Today's hike is about 13 km (8 miles) long and should take about 6-7 hours. On the way up we will come across several mineral water springs and pass by a couple of Svan settlements. Be prepared for endless views of stunning mountain peaks. We will have a picnic somewhere in the middle of the hike.

Today we head to Ifrari. Ifrari is a small settlement 1900 m (6234 ft.)above sea level. The hike is about 17 km (10.5 miles) and it should take about 7-8 hours. On our way up we will have the chance to see the mountains' peaks of Tetnuldi, Katini, and Gestola. Also we will be able to see the famous Tetnuldi glacier. After 6 km (3.7 miles) there will be a horseback river crossing, and then a picnic at the mountain pass of Vkhuntieri. There will be a small waterfall on the way and then we will stop by Kkhalde, one of the oldest settlements in Svaneti. Nowadays, it is only inhabited by one family.

Today we hike to Ushguli, the highest settlement in Europe. It is located 2200 m (7219 ft.) above sea level. It will take about 5 to 6 hours to cover 8 km (5 miles). Ushguli consists of 4 villages. One of the villages is home to a unique kind of architecture that is listed as a UNESCO heritage site. We will also see Shkkhlar, the highest mountain peak in Georgia. In Ushguli we will stop for a picnic and visit the museum and church of St Mary. Afterwards, we will drive back to Mestia.

Breakfast at a guest house. Saying farewell to Svaneti. Return to Tbilisi (this is not a part of the tour package).
