Let’s go to Kakheti – also known as “the land of wine”!
Capital of Kakheti - Telavi. Travel to Telavi - this amazing tour takes you to a beautiful region - the world of ancient temples and monasteries, picturesque rivers and valleys, where the warm sun grows the most wonderful grapes. Telavi is not only the center of the region, it is also the center of Georgian winemaking. The city is situated at an altitude of 490 m above sea level, so the air is fresh, crisp and clear. The 11th century Alaverdi Cathedral is the second largest church in Georgia.
When you come to Kakheti, it is impossible not to visit a real wine cellar! Here you will be a guests of traditional winemakers - owners of the large Marani, built in ancient times. You can expect a fun excursion, inspecting an extensive exposition of wine-making items, and of course - wine tasting and a delicious and rich dinner (wine, chacha, cognac, kebab, khachapuri, different salads, cheese, fish, freshly baked bread, khinkali, fruit and more) .
In the evening you will go to the city of love - Signakhi. Signakhi owes it’s description as the “city of love” to the fact that you can get married here 24/7! Any takers?

You will walk along the labyrinth of narrow and cozy streets of Signakhi. This small but amazingly beautiful city is located on a mountain top, offering fabulous views over the Alazani Valley. In good weather you can see the Mount Kazbek in the distance. The city has 23 towers and 6 gates. The city is encircled by a 18th century fortress wall consisting of 23 towers and 6 gates.
You will also visit Bodbe monastery, where the remains and tomb of the Saints Enlightener of Georgia; namely Nina, is found - who died there in the year 347AC. Georgia holds many legends and mysteries.
Near the monastery there is a miraculous spring, which, as legend has it, appeared here due to the prayers of St. Nino. There is a belief, that immersing oneself into the spring brings new health.
Return to Tbilisi.
